The rebranded app now serves as a unified collaborative platform for all its AI-powered features, including the new Zoom AI companion. The update comes with a visual refresh and introduces a multitude of new and enhanced features.

Some notable changes include the removal of the block on late-joining meeting participants trying to unmute or start video. Additionally, the Meetings and Calendars tab have been consolidated into a single tab for improved clarity.

The new Windows release no longer supports Windows 7 and 8. New meeting and webinar features consist of a multi-speaker view, personalized in-meeting toolbars, and improved integration with Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive files.

Users can create a personalized voiceprint to enhance audio isolation for headsets and headphones, even in open environments. Companion mode has been enhanced for accessing meetings across multiple devices, and a new portrait lighting setting has been added for video.

Moreover, hosts and selected panelists can now be excluded from survey participation. Users can now disable the AI Companion during a meeting and delete any assets generated by it afterwards for privacy and security reasons.

The AI Companion also offers to autocomplete words and sentences during Team Chat sessions, which now include tabs for whiteboards and important links for increased accessibility. Other improvements in this release include enhanced split view, chat settings, and resource management.

Both free and pro tiers are available for personal and business uses.
