The new iPad Pro is available in 13-inch and 11-inch sizes, claiming to be Apple’s thinnest device yet. Weighing less than a pound, the 11-inch model is 5.3 mm thick, while the 13-inch model is just 5.1 mm. The device is powered by the M4 chip from the Apple Silicon series, which offers a significant improvement in performance and capabilities.
The M4 chip provides 1.5x faster CPU improvement over the previous iPad Pro chip, M2, and includes an advanced GPU with Appleās Neural Engine. The Ultra Retina XDR display features twin OLED technology, delivering 1000 nits of full-screen brightness for SDR and HDR content, and 1600 nits peak for HDR. The nano-texture glass maintains image quality and contrast while minimizing glare.
The device also features an updated camera system, quality microphones, and a USB-C connector with support for Thunderbolt 3 and USB 4. The iPad Pro is described as the biggest update ever to the iPad Pro, with the breakthrough Ultra Retina XDR display, advanced performance of the M4 chip, AI capabilities, and support for the all-new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard. It comes in two finishes, silver and space black, with 100 percent recycled aluminum enclosures, and capacities ranging from 256GB to 2TB.
The 11-inch model is priced from $999, while the 13-inch model starts at $1299.
