The recent update to Windows brought many new features, one of which is the AI-powered Copilot. However, it also introduced some issues. Microsoft has acknowledged that the update has caused desktop icons to move around, and it is believed to be related to Copilot’s interaction with multi-display setups. At present, there is no fix for this problem.

To prevent encountering this issue, Copilot in Windows Preview may not be available on devices that have been or are currently used with a multimonitor configuration. Microsoft has stated that they are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
