Several years ago, the adoption of dark mode for apps and websites became a significant cultural and technological trend, mirroring the current prominence of AI. Google Drive has now joined this trend, and its implementation of dark mode is expected to be welcomed by users.

The feature aims to offer a more comfortable and customizable viewing experience for Drive users. Currently, the rollout of this option is ongoing for all Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google account users.

It’s important to note that there is no administrative control for this feature. The rollout process has just begun and may take up to two weeks to complete, so if the dark mode option does not appear immediately, it should be expected soon.
