The upcoming macOS Sequoia will feature an update to Gatekeeper aimed at enhancing security. Apple is removing the quick bypass option, making it more cumbersome to bypass Gatekeeper. Users will now be required to navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security to review security information for software before granting permission for it to run.

With most software distributed through the Mac App Store, the change may not pose significant challenges for the majority of users. However, many developers opt out of using the Mac App Store for various reasons, and they may face some obstacles due to this update.
