Version 19 introduces a new feature called Fortress Mode and a redesigned user interface. Fortress Mode creates a separate, secure Windows environment for O&O SafeErase, preventing unauthorized access to user data and optimizing the data shredding process. This mode is compatible with all of SafeErase’s secure delete modes, including internet cache scrubbing, deleting user-selected files and folders, and wiping entire partitions, drives, and systems.

Users can choose from six deletion methods, exceeding US DoD and German BSI requirements. In addition, SafeErase 19 features an updated user interface focused on improving navigation and functionality.
